Adding Whois Privacy

Whenever a domain name is registered, ICANN requires the registrar to publish valid contact details associated with the domain name. These contact details are publicly available in a Whois index.

Understandably, not everyone is comfortable having their contact information public and there are some risks associated with not guarding those details. We highly recommend that you add Whois Privacy protection to your domain name. To add Whois Privacy protection, please follow these simple steps:

Log into your account.
From the menu, click the Domains tab, and select My Domains.
Click the domain name you would like to add Whois Privacy Protection for.
On the right sidebar, Click on Addons.
Click on the Buy Now button, under the ID Protection addon.
The product is now in your cart and you can proceed to checkout.
Note: Not all TLDs allow you to use Whois Privacy.
